Looks: It's a nice, clean design with a color that matches the space grey of the MacBook. I got this to replace a Brydge dock that was unable to meet the commitments of its specifications. Lets you down with consistent 4K availability I'm about six months into daily use of this docking station with my MacBook Pro 13' (2020 edition) and it generally performs as expected. To charge a premium price for a product that is clearly dysfunctional and then not bother to provide any updates or other true error handling from Belkin is down right dishonest! Only workaround is to restart the computer. Other times both monitors are being reported as the same type to MacOS which messes up the monitors individual settings in terms of scaling and alignment. I have dual monitors connected to the dock and from time to time the second monitor doesnt wake up from sleep when I connect the macbook. This defies the whole purpose of the dock and doesnt seem to be something that is being worked on solving.Ģ. There are a number of threads about this issue and Belkins only response has been to unplug everything before computer goes to sleep. When macbook goes to sleep and you have ethernet cable connected it will take down your entire network. Numerous issues making it a poor choice I bought this dock at the start of 2021 and it's been a bumpy ride.ġ.
